Paint has alway been my favorite language, but with this new body of work I wanted to explore working with wool as my only medium, to create a series of tranquil landscapes and seascapes.
Using a technique called dry needle felting, layer upon layer of unspun wool is manipulated endlessly with special barbed needles, until the fibers interlock into a permanent bond.
